    Picture is blurry when you watch digital channels on an Android TV

    You can sometimes reduce the blur on your TV by changing the picture quality settings.

    1. Set the Digital Noise reduction to Low.
      1. Access the Settings screen on the TV
        • If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings
        • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button and select Settings
      2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Display and Sound → Picture & Sound → Picture → Clarity
        • Select Display and Sound → Picture → Clarity
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
          Note: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Clarity.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture adjustment → Advanced → Clarity.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture adjustment — Advanced Settings → Clarity.
        • Select BRAVIA Settings → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
        • Select Picture & Display → Picture adjustments → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
        • Select Display → Picture → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
      3. Select Digital noise reduction and set it to Low.
    2. Adjust the Sharpness.
      1. Access the Settings screen on the TV
        • If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings
        • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button and select Settings
      2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Display and Sound → Picture & Sound → Picture → Clarity.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture → Advanced → Clarity.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
          Note: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Clarity.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture adjustment → Advanced → Clarity.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
        • Select BRAVIA Settings → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
        • Select Picture & Display → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
        • Select Display → Picture → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
      3. Adjust the Sharpness.
    3. Reduce the value of Gamma (SDR) or Gamma by 1.

        • If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings
        • If the remote control doesn't have a Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button, press the HOME button and select Settings
      2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Display and Sound → Picture & Sound → Picture → Brightness
        • Select Display and Sound → Picture → Advanced → Brightness
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture → Advanced Settings → Brightness.
          Note: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Brightness.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture adjustment → Advanced → Brightness.
        • Select Display & Sound → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Brightness.
        • Select BRAVIA Settings → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Brightness.
        • Select Picture & Display → Picture adjustment → Advanced Settings → Brightness.
        • Select Display → Picture → Advanced Settings → Clarity.
      3. Reduce the value of Gamma (SDR) or Gamma by 1

    Note: If the above settings don't improve the issue, change the Random Noise Reduction setting. Random Noise Reduction is displayed when you select Clarity.
