Remove / uninstall an App on a Google TV or Android TV

    IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

    Note: Some of the pre-installed applications can't be deleted.

    Follow the steps provided to uninstall an app on your Android TV™ or Google TV™:

    1. Open the Settings menu.
      • If the remote control has a Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings.
      • If the remote control doesn't have a Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button, press the HOME button and select Settings.
    2. Select Apps.
      Note: If the supplied remote control has an APPS button, you can press the APPS button to display the apps list.
    3. The next steps depend on your TV menu options:
      1. Select See all apps → Select an app to be deleted → Uninstall.
      2. Select an app to be deleted → Uninstall.
