Brightness settings or The TV screen is too bright

    If your TV screen is too bright, even when you have the brightness set to the minimum, use the Custom setting in Picture mode to adjust the brightness.

    1. On the supplied remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
    2. Press the Left arrow button to select Picture mode.

      Note: If you use the TalkBack feature, press the Enter button.

    3. Press the Down arrow button to select Custom.
    4. Select Brightness by pressing the Right arrow button.
      Note: If you use the TalkBack feature, press the Enter button.
    5. Press the Down arrow button to select Min.

    If you still feel the TV screen is too bright, follow these steps to minimize the contrast:

    Note: The effectiveness depends on the content being viewed.

    1. On the supplied remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
    2. Press the Left arrow button to select Picture settings, and then press the Enter button.
    3. Press the Down arrow button to select Brightness, and then press the Enter button.
    4. Press the Down arrow button to select Contrast.

      Note: If you use the TalkBack feature, press the Enter button, then press the Right arrow button twice, and then press the Enter button.

    5. Press the Left arrow button to select Min.
