Google Assistant unintentionally starts when I try to switch the Noise Canceling and Ambient Sound Mode functions

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

If your headphones and Bluetooth® device are reconnected, the Google Assistant notification may pop up. If you tap the notification, the assignment of the headphone button or touch sensor function will be switched to the Google Assistant. If this happens, change the assignment back to Ambient Sound Control using the Sony | Headphones Connect app.

IMPORTANT: If the same notification reappears, don't tap the notification. Swipe the notification to turn it off.

If you follow the appropriate procedure and cannot switch the Noise Canceling function by tapping the L side touch sensor, the assignment of the touch sensor or button may be set to another function, such as Google Assistant. If this is the case, check the settings using the Sony | Headphones Connect app.
