There is low or no audio coming from the wireless rear surround speakers.

If the audio coming through is low or you are not hearing any audio from the wireless rear surround sound speakers for the Blu-ray Disc® home theater system, there are a couple of items that will need to be checked:

NOTE: Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the sound after completing each step.
- Verify that the speaker cords and surround amplifier connection are accurate and secure.
- Make sure you performed the test tone function where the speakers will emit a tone, which will verify all speakers are working.
- Check that the S-AIR™ Wireless system is set up and the S-AIR/STANDBY indicator is green.
- Verify the Surround Back setting for the rear wireless speakers is activated by doing the following:
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Once the HOME menu appears, press the left or right arrow to select Setup (
).
- Select Audio Settings.
- Press the
button.
- Select Speaker Settings.
- Press the
button.
- Select Surround Back.
- Press the
button.
- Select Yes.
- Press the
button.
- Verify the Surround setting for the home theater system is set to a Surround mode and that it is not set to a 2-channel source.
Also, depending on the source being played, the effect of the surround speakers may be less noticeable or not at all. Try different Surround sources to see if there is any difference.
