Error: CPU Fan is abnormal, press F2 to setup.

Follow this procedure to resolve the error: CPU Fan is abnormal, press F2 to setup.

1. Reset the BIOS to the default values .

   NOTE: If the issue is not resolved, continue with this solution.

   WARNING: There is a risk of personal injury. If caution is not taken to disconnect the computer from AC power, injury can result.

   WARNING: There is a risk of hardware damage. Use a grounding strap to prevent static electricity from damaging internal components.

2. Turn off the computer.
3. Disconnect all peripherals from the computer.
4. Unplug the AC power cord from the computer.
5. Open the computer case.
6. Ensure all the internal power connectors are firmly seated.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.  Go to Product Repair.
