If "OK Google" comes from the TV, for example during a commercial, the TV's Built-in microphone might react to it. Press the BACK button on the remote control to cancel the Google Assistant ready status.

Check the TV position setting:

  1. On your remote control, press the HOME button.
  2. Select Settings Settings.
  3. Select Sound or select Display & Sound, and then select Sound.
  4. Select TV position.
  5. Select Table-Top stand or Wall Mount.

Note: Google Assistant may also pop up after hearing "OK Google" from a TV broadcast if the Accessibility (Screen Reader or Talkback) setting is On.
