Horizontal lines appear across the bottom of my TV screen

If the TV image is distorted (horizontal lines) across the bottom section of the screen when watching TV, but not on the Home menu or streaming apps (Netflix®, Amazon Prime™, etc.), follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

Restart using the TV remote control

Follow the steps below or press and hold the POWER button at the back of your TV to restart it.

  1. On the supplied IR remote control, press and hold the POWER button for about five seconds until Power off appears on the TV screen.

    Note: The TV automatically powers off and then powers back on after one minute. If it doesn't power on, press the POWER button on the remote.

  2. Check if it resolves the issue.

Restart by unplugging the power cord

  1. Power off the TV.
  2. Unplug the power cord for two minutes, and then plug it back in.
  3. Power on the TV.
  4. Check if it resolves the issue.
