Important notice when you set the screen lock of the Walkman player

Activating the screen lock feature will increase security of the player, but if you forget the pattern, PIN code, or password, you will not be able to unlock the screen. It is strongly recomended that you store in a secure location the pattern, PIN code, or password in case you ever do forget.

If you have forgotten the pattern, PIN code, or password, you will not be able to unlock the screen by yourself. Contact the nearest Sony Service Center in order to get the device unlocked.

1. Input the PIN code or password.
2. Select the check mark at the bottom right of the screen to unlock it.
