Music playback from a computer has crackling noises or gets interrupted

    If the playback of music from a computer to the System Speaker has crackling noises or intermittently stops, the computer may be using USB Audio 2.0 Drivers for Microsoft® Office instead of the correct driver (Sony Amplifier Driver).

    Make sure to install the latest versions of the Sony Amplifier Driver and Hi-Res Audio Player on your computer from the Support website. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
