How to find and edit personal contact information in the Contacts application? (Android 11 or higher)

Valid for

• Android™ 11 or higher

Your personal contact information is stored under Your info in the Contacts application. This information is useful when you want to share your contact details with another person, for example, via SMS, email, or Bluetooth®. However, from Android 8.0 and later versions, your personal contact information is no longer stored as a default contact in the contact list.

Edit Your info

• Android 12 or higher

  1. Find and tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the profile icon in the upper corner.
  3. Tap Contacts app settings/Contacts settings → Your info.
  4. Input or Edit the desired information
  5. When done, tap SAVE.

• Android 11

  1. Find and tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the (Menu) icon → Settings → Your info.
  3. Input or Edit the desired information.
  4. When done, tap SAVE.
