Dear Valued Sony Customer,
Cracks may occur on the rotating shaft in the joint between the headband and the headphone housing of certain ULT WEAR WH-ULT900N headphones.
To address this issue, we will extend the warranty for affected units until January 31, 2027, subject to the terms and conditions of the product Limited Warranty.
Affected units
ULT WEAR WH-ULT900N wireless noise canceling headphones in the following serial number ranges.

The model number shown on affected units is YY2981.
Determine if your headphones are affected
On affected units, a crack may occur on the headband's rotating shaft, indicated by the arrows, causing the headphone housing to come off.
Resolution
We will service affected units free of charge until January 31, 2027, subject to the terms and conditions of the product Limited Warranty.
