The camera displays an error beginning with E:61, E:62, E:91, E:92 or System.

Error Code Cause Resolution
Error: C:13:01 Error is displayed when the internal memory is used. This error occurs in the internal memory.
  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. Turn on the camera again.

    NOTE: If the situation is not improved, format the internal memory after backing up the stored data.

    WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the internal memory, all stored images will be deleted including protected ones.

Error is displayed when a memory card is used. This error occurs in the memory card.
  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. Insert and remove the memory card several times.
  3. Turn on the camera.
  4. Insert another memory card.

    NOTE: When you are using a memory card used on your computer, backup the stored data and format the memory card with the camera.

    WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the internal memory, all stored images will be deleted including protected ones.

System error and C:32:01 C:13:01 may be displayed when you shoot large data images such as movies.
  • Check whether the memory card is supported by the camera.
    • Use an SD memory card such as Class 4 or faster SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory card.
    • Use a Memory Stick media with a mark of Memory Stick PRO Duo PRO Duo Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2) media or  Memory Stick PRO HG Duo PRO HG Duo media.
  • Format the memory card.

    If you record and delete images repeatedly, the files on the memory card may become fragmented and the recording may stop automatically. After backing up the stored data to your computer, format the memory card with the camera.

    WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the memory card, all stored images will be deleted including protected ones.

  • Use another memory card.

E:41:00
This error occurs if there is an issue with the Wi-Fi connectivity of the camera.
  1. Turn off the power.
  2. Remove the battery pack.
  3. Attach the battery pack.
  4. After one minute, turn on the power of the camera.
For errors starting with E:61, E:62, E:91, E:92  

When the errors shown below are displayed, follow the steps below.

  1. Turn off the power of the camera.
  2. Remove the battery pack.
  3. Attach the battery pack.
  4. Turn on the power of the camera after about one minute.
