How to disable the caution alarm for the faceplate reminder after you turn the car off.
This model of car stereo receiver (see the Products section below) has a caution alarm that will sound for a few seconds if you turn the ignition switch of your vehicle to the OFF position without detaching the faceplate. The caution alarm is designed to remind you to remove the faceplace after you have turned your vehicle off.
NOTE: The caution alarm will only sound if the built-in amplifier for the car stereo receiver is used.
To disable the caution alarm, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the Select button until the Setup Display appears.
- Rotate the Control Dial until CAUT ALM displays, then press the Select button.
- Rotate the Control dial to select OFF, then press the Select button.
- Press the BACK button to exit the menu.
