How to change the serial port setting in the Palm™ HotSync® Manager utility.

    1. On the taskbar, in the system tray, click the HotSync Manager [FIG. 1] icon.
    2. In the HotSync Manager menu, click Setup.
    3. In the Setup window, click the Local tab.
    4. On the Local tab, to the right of Serial port, click the down arrow and then click to select the appropriate COM port.

      NOTE: The selected COM port must match the port where the serial cradle or cable is connected to the computer.

    5. Click the OK button.
