Can a Palm™ HotSync® operation be performed for the same CLIE® handheld on different computers?

A Palm HotSync operation can be performed for the same CLIE handheld on different computers, provided the required Palm Desktop for CLIE software is installed and the handheld user name is unique on each computer.

Similarly, a Palm HotSync operation can be performed for multiple CLIE handhelds on the same computer, provided each of the handhelds has a unique user name.

NOTES:

• In order for a Palm HotSync operation to be successful, the time and date must be the same on both the handheld and the computer.
• An automated tool is available to convert or transfer existing Palm Desktop data to allow it to be used with the Palm Desktop for CLIE software. The CLIE Migration Tool can be downloaded from the Sony CLIE Handheld Support Web site at http://www.sony.com/peg/support.
