The latest software update for your soundbar and A/V receiver adds support for the Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC). If your audio device doesn't output sound when connected to the HDMI® (ARC) port on your TV, check if your TV is compatible with eARC. Check your TV manual for model-specific information. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

If your TV isn't compatible, turn off the eARC function on your audio device.

  • Turn off eARC on your soundbar:
    1. On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Setup.
    3. Select System Settings or Advanced Settings.
    4. Select HDMI Settings.
    5. Select eARC.
    6. Set to Off.
  • Turn off eARC on your A/V receiver: The steps vary depending on your model.
