How to perform a system recovery on a Sony® desktop computer.

WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. All software applications, configurations, and data added to the restored drives will be erased.

1. Insert System Recovery CD #1 into the CD/DVD drive.

   NOTE: If the computer has two CD/DVD drives, insert the disc into the top drive.

2. Turn off the computer.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. In the VAIO System Recovery Utility window, click the Next button.
5. Under Notes on Use , click the Next button.
6. Under Main Menu, Product Recovery , click to select the appropriate type of recovery to perform:
• Default System Drive Recovery (Recommended)
• Custom Drive Recovery
